Studienkolleg in Hessen

Hessen has four university Studienkollegs: in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Kassel and Marburg (Studienkolleg Mittelhessen). All four hold their entrance tests at the same time, so you can only sit one per round. The content is not the same everywhere: each Kolleg sets its own test.

How the tests differ

• Frankfurt: German only, as an electronic C-Test, taken in person twice a year. Applicants need at least a B1 certificate. Details
• Darmstadt (TU): a German C-Test for everyone, plus a math test of about 40 minutes for the T-Kurs. German at B1 level is expected. Details
• Marburg: the test is held online on a fixed date each round.
• Kassel: check the Kolleg's application page for its current test format.
